Did this boy commit suicide as alleged by DJ Fatxo and his two other colleagues?
Kenyans have overwhelmingly poured cold water on the suicide theory. They are not satisfied that the young, energetic, and handsome man, who seemed jovial and full of life, had died after jumping to his death from the 12th floor of a house where the popular Kikuyu DJ lived.

According to one of Jeff’s close relatives, on February 21, 2023, at around 2 p.m., Jeff left his house and went to meet DJ Fatxo. They had initially agreed that he (Jeff) would do some interior decorating in DJ’s office and a shop.

They met, went to different clubs where Fatxo performed, and went back to the DJ’s rented apartment. This time they were together with five more people—three girls and two men. At around 4:30 a.m., Fatxo left the house with the girls, leaving behind Jeff and the other two men.
From the CCTV footage, at around 5:40 am, the two men are captured going out to the parking lot, surveying around suspiciously. One of them opened the bathroom door, then made a phone call that lasted for a few seconds. The duo are then captured going back to the house.
After about 7 minutes, Jeff is seen falling to the ground.
The eyewitnesses who were woken by the thud aver that when they arrived on the scene, they found the motionless body of the young Jeff lying in a pool of blood, his pair of trousers having been pulled down to the knees, and his head badly fractured.
DJ Fatxo returned 5 hours later, at around 9.30 a.m., where he found members of the public milling around Jeff’s body. He is seen looking at the body for a few minutes before going back to his house, where his two friends were. The trio later recorded a statement at a nearby police station where they claimed that Jeff jumped to his death, and that he had been showing signs of suicidal ideations even back then. However, his relatives refuted the suicide claims.
